I think that in order to become powerful, you need to have ambition. I think someone of power needs to be ambitious- someone will not rise to power unless they have some type of drive that would make them strive to be powerful. People don't become powerful over night or by accident, they have to work at it and try their best. They can't give up or be deterred. When the going gets tough, the tough keep going. That's the mindset someone powerful has to have. Take me for instance- After Macbeth killed Duncan and forgot to plant the daggers on the guards, I didn't just throw in the towel an say, "Oh, that's okay, we don't need to be king and queen, anyway." NO. I trudged back up those steps and put the bloody dagger right in their gory hands. I have certainly come quite powerful and I owe it all to my huge ambition.

Oh yes Lady Macbeth. No one will deny that you were ambitious and courageous in the beginning. In fact, most of us were really fascinated with your ideas and behavior. Some of the things you said back then...Wow! But, I want to know what happened to that ambition. One minute you were all- make me man enough- and the next minute you seemed to disappear and were reported to be suicidal. I'm a little skeptical about this. You seemed like you had a lot of ideas about your power. Did guilt really bring about the end of you?
ReplyDeleteYeha, your'e a little too ambitious which made you crazy and commit suicide, so you also need to have this trait called being sane.
