Safe Haven
In the book Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks, I found an interesting quote, "If he so much as suspected anything, he would kill her."(Sparks 66) This one quote pretty much sums up the whole book. Katie has to do all that she can to get away from her abusive husband. She changes her name, dyes her hair, and creates a new life. While the whole time she is afraid because her detective husband is still on the hunt for her. I am really liking this book so far and can't wait to read more.

Wow this book, sounds like it has a bunch of twists and turns. I bet it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Doesnt it?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an old movie with Julia Roberts- while you were sleeping? I can't remember the title. She fakes her death to get away from her abusive husband. Of course he finds her and tries to kill her, but it's a good, suspenseful story!
ReplyDeleteDanielle, I absolutely LOVED this book. That quote definitely sums up the majority of the story. In a way, that quote makes you want to keep reading to find out what exactly happens and how that thought even came about. This book definitely has many twists and turns that keep you addicted and always wanting to read more.
